Rollcages, seats, harnesses & fire extinguishers

SGR Engineering offers a full race car saety package. Race seats and harnesses are fitted to custom brackets and supports to ensure maximum strength.

Plumbed in electronic fire extinguishers are a vital safety feature - though we hope it is never used. Polycarbonate windows are a safety feature because they won't break, but they are also lighter than glass.

Rollcages are a hugely important safety feature in a race car, but there is more to a cage than just safety. When fitted properly, a welded in rollcage adds an incredible amount of extra stiffness to the chassis, and this can vastly improve the handling and hence performance. All SGR cages are weld in rather than bolt in.
